HIV Advanced Disease

Endpoints for HIV Advanced Disease testing analytics are currently under development. This module will cover diagnostics for patients with advanced HIV disease.

CD4 Count

CD4 cell count testing for immune status monitoring in HIV patients. CD4 counts are critical for identifying patients with advanced HIV disease (CD4 count below 200 cells/mm³) and guiding treatment decisions.

CrAg (Cryptococcal Antigen)

Cryptococcal antigen testing for diagnosis of cryptococcal meningitis in patients with advanced HIV disease. CrAg screening is recommended for all HIV-positive patients with CD4 counts below 200 cells/mm³.

TB-LAM (Lateral Flow Urine LAM)

Lateral flow urine lipoarabinomannan (LAM) assay for rapid tuberculosis diagnosis in HIV-positive patients with advanced immunosuppression. TB-LAM testing enables point-of-care TB diagnosis in settings where sputum-based diagnostics are challenging.
